Job Description

About us From the Ashes Counseling is a small mental health therapy clinic that provides a professional, safe, and comfortable atmosphere for our clients and providers. We are seeking a licensed (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW) or licensure track (LPCC) therapist, who is trauma-informed, and enjoys working with older teens, adults, and couples.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual or family therapy sessions focused on treatment goals
  • Address concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustments, parenting, work stress, or other areas of clinical focus based on client needs
  • Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
  • Record and maintain adequate documentation according to legal and ethical standards
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, assessment, and treatment modalities
  • Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans
  • Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt treatment approaches based on individual needs
  • Strong background in trauma-informed care
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, or Social Work
  • Independent, active licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LICSW) in Minnesota or working towards licensure as LPCC
  • Ability to function independently, in supportive environment
  • Maintain appropriate malpractice insurance
  • Willingness and ability to effectively manage hours and caseload
