Certification Full Job Description Job Overview The role of an Outpatient Therapist involves providing therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting. This position requires extensive knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to apply them effectively to support clients in managing their mental health conditions. As an Outpatient Therapist, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions. This role is pivotal in empowering clients to lead healthier and more fulfilled lives. Responsibilities & Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients Develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, group, and family therapy Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Provide crisis intervention when needed Participate in case conferences and team meetings Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and treatments Stay updated with current best practices in therapy and mental health care Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent Experience working with diverse populations Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems Bilingual capabilities Previous experience in outpatient or community mental health settings Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field Appropriate state licensure or certification Clinical experience in mental health counseling Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities Excellent communication and listening skills Empathy and strong ethical standards Ability to maintain professional boundaries Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Commitment to ongoing professional development

Pay:

Up to $50.00 per hour
