• Description of Practice
• Comfort Counseling Cafe' is a therapy practice serving clients dealing with anxiety, depression, self-acceptance, people-pleasing, overthinking, and boundary-setting, often rooted in trauma or cultural/religious pressures. We're launching a school-based therapy program with KCS, providing on-site counseling for students (children and adolescents) at multiple schools.
• Therapist Job Responsibilities
• Build positive, trusting rapport with clients Diagnose and treat mental health disorders Create and update individualized treatment plans Conduct ongoing assessments and involve family when appropriate Refer clients to specialists or agencies as needed Maintain client records, confidentiality, and follow safety protocols Collaborate with therapists and administrative staff Complete licensure requirements on time Participate in networking, community, and outreach activities Travel between school sites to provide in-person sessions Coordinate scheduling with school staff Maintain HIPAA and FERPA compliance Collaborate with school counselors and IEP/504 teams as needed to support student well-being •Requirements•LCSWA, LCSW, LCMHCA, or LCMHC license Experience with CBT; open to other modalities Knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices Strong listening, communication, coaching, analytical, and organizational skills Full time opportunities, once caseload hits 20 clients a week.

Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws; malpractice insurance required Fluent in English (bilingual beneficial) Able to conduct ~10-20 sessions/week Experience with clients struggling with anxiety and depression Reliable transportation; mileage reimbursed Comfortable working independently across multiple locations Background check required

• Compensation & Benefits
• Part-time (10-20 hrs/week) $250/year CEU stipend after 90 days Mileage reimbursement for school travel Clinical supervision opportunities available based on role and supervisor availability Flexible schedule Opportunities for full-time Remote schedule (for non-school-based sessions) Credentialing support
