Job Summary Center hours in Kinnelon 2 therapists needed 1230-430pm Little Steps by Liam ABA We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral support to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. As an ABA Therapist, you will implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols, assist clients with daily living skills, and foster meaningful progress through personalized care plans. Duties Implement individualized ABA therapy plans based on client assessments and care plans, ensuring treatment fidelity and client progress. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, promoting independence. Collect and analyze behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Engage in direct behavioral therapy with clients across various settings such as home, school, or community environments. Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support consistent care delivery. Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques aligned with ethical guidelines. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient-centered care tailored to each client's needs. Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and documenting medical records accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and confidentiality requirements such as HIPAA. Experience working in home-based settings or school environments is preferred.
