Job Description

Job Overview:
La Luz Provider Agency is looking for a licensed mental health provider to provide Behavior Support Consultation (BSC) services in the Santa Fe area on the NM Developmental Disabilities Waiver. (LPCC, LMHC, LPAT, LISW, LMSW, LCSW, LPAT, LMFT welcome to apply) The role of the BSC is to support individuals and their teams and provide consultation and training to caregivers. The successful candidate will have a flexible and holistic perspective and will be able to communicate effectively with a team of providers. Services take place in homes and in the community. We are a small, supportive and established DD waiver agency that values providing quality services to our clients. Our agency offers a competitive hourly rate of pay. You can make your own schedule and have flexible hours. This is a part-time, contract/ 1099 position, with an opportunity to grow a larger caseload over time. Job Responsibilities:
Train, guide and educate caregivers on behavioral supports Attend scheduled team meetings and consult with providers on team Complete required trainings for DD Waiver providers Complete required paperwork and reports for each client Regularly follow-up with clients and monitor progress Create individualized assessments and support plans
Experience and Skills:
Experience and/ or interest with working with I/DD population is preferred, (training is provided) Experience using computer programs (Word, Excel) Client centered and personable approach Professional behavior and good interpersonal communication skills Valid, current NM license to practice (LPCC, LMHC, LISW, LCSW, LMSW, LPAT, LMFT)
