Job Description

Lead School Based Therapist, LCSW or LPC Chester, Pennsylvania $60,000 to $70,000 per year 30 to 40 hours per week Healthcare Recruiters International is recruiting an independently licensed Lead School Based Therapist for a community focused behavioral health organization serving children, adolescents, and families. This position will oversee four therapists providing mental health services across two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The Lead Therapist will provide clinical supervision, monitor service quality, and support collaboration among therapists, school personnel, students, and families. Why Consider This Opportunity Salary between $60,000 and $70,000 Flexible schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week Leadership opportunity with an established behavioral health organization Opportunity to oversee therapists across four school locations Limited direct clinical responsibilities as needed Meaningful work supporting children, adolescents, and families Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and support to four school based therapists Oversee behavioral health services across four schools Review assessments, treatment plans, clinical documentation, and discharge planning Provide clinical consultation regarding complex cases, crises, and safety concerns Monitor documentation for quality, accuracy, and timely completion Ensure services meet professional, ethical, agency, and regulatory standards Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, families, and community providers Assist with therapist orientation, training, development, and performance feedback Support evidence based and strength based treatment practices Participate in team meetings and program quality improvement efforts Maintain a small clinical caseload when needed Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field Active independent Pennsylvania clinical license required LCSW or LPC strongly preferred Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, or families Previous clinical supervision or leadership experience preferred School based, outpatient, or community behavioral health experience preferred Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to travel between assigned school locations Schedule Information During the academic year, services will primarily be provided within the assigned schools. When school is not in session, employees will work from the organization's local office during summer break, school breaks, and holidays not observed by the organization.
