Description Position Overview Vision in Mind Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is fully remote, allowing the successful candidate to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of their own home, serving our clients across New York. Work Environment As a fully remote team, we provide our clinicians with the flexibility to manage their schedules while ensuring consistent support and resources to excel in their role. Staff members are encouraged to bring creativity and innovation into their clinical practice, fostering an atmosphere where both clients and therapists can thrive. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations, formulate mental health diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs. Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week as a full-time clinician, ensuring timely and thorough documentation, including ongoing assessments and treatment reviews. Engage collaboratively with a dynamic and supportive team to enhance service delivery, share knowledge, and improve community mental health initiatives. Utilize innovative therapeutic interventions, incorporating creativity to help clients set and achieve their personal goals. Complete and submit all session documentation promptly, adhering to company guidelines and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams—including case managers, families, schools, and medical personnel—to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Participate in all scheduled clinical meetings, training, and team-building activities to foster a strong, collaborative workplace culture. Patient Population / Client Focus Our ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, addressing the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families. Qualifications A master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Possession of an LMFT clinical license for New York State. Proven experience in clinical documentation, including writing assessments, treatment plans, and case notes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Demonstrated capacity to manage boundaries effectively with clients and maintain a professional demeanor. Proficient in using Office 365 and familiar with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in Valant. Ability to pass a background check prior to employment. Preferred Experience Experience working creatively within therapeutic modalities that engage clients effectively. Prior experience in community health settings or working with diverse populations is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this role is competitive, with an annual salary of $80,000 to $105,000, depending on experience.
