Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings using established diagnostic tools to understand each client's unique mental health needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to address specific concerns related to marriage and family dynamics. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to care. Provide education and support to clients' families regarding the therapeutic process and coping strategies during treatment. Maintain detailed, confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards to monitor progress and outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Peaceful Empowerment Counseling, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including couples encountering relational challenges, families needing support with communication issues, and individuals addressing personal mental health concerns such as anxiety or depression. Qualifications Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) . A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
