Work Environment Our remote work setting through telehealth allows for flexibility in addressing our diverse patient population's needs. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate virtual therapy sessions in a supportive and secure online environment. While we primarily operate Monday to Friday, our therapists may need to adjust their schedules occasionally to accommodate patient appointments, ensuring accessible care when it matters most. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices. Utilize therapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to deliver effective treatment to individuals, couples, and families. Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, offering patients insights into common mental health challenges and fostering community support through shared experiences. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, prioritizing holistic treatment methods. Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and devising follow-up care plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery. Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and clarity in electronic health records. Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and adhere to organizational best practices, fostering professional enrichment. Stay informed about the latest research, treatment methodologies, and advancements in the field of mental health therapy to continuously enhance patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic welcomes a diverse array of patients, representing various backgrounds and mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use issues, and those in need of crisis intervention. Your empathy and dedication will be paramount to assisting patients on their journey toward healing and personal growth. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey. A strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic frameworks. Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and create effective, individualized treatment plans. Experience providing individual and group therapy to a broad demographic. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and rapport-building with patients. A commitment to upholding professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) software and comfortable with telehealth platforms. A collaborative spirit and willingness to adapt within a multidisciplinary team approach. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health clinical setting providing therapy and counseling services. Experience delivering therapy over virtual platforms, ensuring patient engagement and therapeutic effectiveness in a remote environment. Familiarity with community resources available to support patient needs beyond clinical sessions. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
