Mental Health Therapist Job Description Bon Ridge Wellness is a compassionate behavioral health practice located in Windsor Mill, MD. We're looking for self-motivated and dedicated clinicians who value a healthy work-life balance, take initiative, and thrive working independently. We are seeking an individual able to do hybrid or virtual . Join our supportive team and help individuals heal, grow, and thrive. We take care of the billing, administrative duties, and finding clients/patients for you. We are looking to hire experienced Mental Health Therapists, to work as independent contractors.
Position Highlights:
  • Sign-on Bonus for fully licensed providers (i.e. LCSW-C; LCPC)
  • 1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling (minimum of 6 billable sessions weekly; however, you can grow your caseload to full-time, if desired.)
  • Guaranteed Payment twice per month for completed billable hours, regardless of insurance delays.

Comprehensive Support:
Billing, EHR, credentialing, and essential subscriptions are provided.
  • In-house Client Referrals.
We provide referrals that are matched to the appropriate clinician based on client need. Responsibilities for Mental Health Therapist A mental health therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. They are a deeply familiar with other services and resources within the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required. A master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology along with independent license such as an
LCSW-C, LCPC, LCADC, LMHFT
are required for the position. Major duties include, but may not be limited to : Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment. Possess basic technology skills and able to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (TherapyNotes). Ability to incorporate complex multiple causation in differential diagnosis and treatment within approved clinical privileges or scope of practice. Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances, based upon evidenced based practice. Skill in a range of specialized interventions and treatment modalities used in specialty treatment programs or with special patient populations. This includes individual, group, and/or family counseling or psychotherapy. Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary. Qualifications for Mental Health Therapist 1-2 years experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood. Valid license as appropriate (e.g. LCSW-C, LCPC, etc.) issued by the State of Maryland. Must be licensed in Maryland! Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment with this agency. Ability to work as a team member and cooperatively. Superb organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to complete documentation timely is preferred. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families. Requirements
