In this vital role, you will conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help identify mental health needs, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-related issues, ensuring clients receive the highest quality care in both enhanced, outpatient and telehealth settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives through thorough assessments and innovative therapeutic approaches. Must have an enthusiastic and engaging personality. Duties Perform detailed mental health assessments utilizing clinical interviewing techniques, diagnostic tools, and ICD-10 coding standards to evaluate client needs accurately. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Conduct individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions incorporating modalities like behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and grief counseling. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote assessments and therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical guidelines. Manage crisis intervention situations effectively through crisis management protocols and behavior management strategies to ensure client safety. Document all patient interactions thoroughly within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), adhering to medical terminology standards and HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, treatment planning, and coordination of care for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder or PTSD. Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection efforts to enhance service delivery and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. Experience Valid licensure as a Mental Health Clinician (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) with demonstrated experience in mental health assessments and clinical counseling. Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, and grief counseling. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, or those with co-occurring disorders. Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards. Prior experience delivering telehealth therapy services using secure platforms while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies, behavior management techniques, and case management practices within outpatient or inpatient settings. Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards, treatment planning processes, CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to mental health care. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating excellent client communication skills.
