We are a collaborative, passionate team committed to providing high-quality therapy while creating a supportive and meaningful work environment for our clinicians. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who is looking for a temporary position, wants to supplement an existing caseload, or would like to explore working in a private practice without having to make a full commitment. The Position The therapist will temporarily take over an established caseload and DBT groups during a clinician's maternity leave.

The anticipated caseload includes:

• Approximately 7-12 individual therapy clients
• Approximately 1-2 DBT skills groups
• Primarily teen and young adult clients
• Caseload and hours may vary based on client needs and clinician availability
• Temporary coverage through approximately the end of February 2027 Clinical Therapist Responsibilities
• Provide individual therapy to an established caseload of teens and/or young adults
• Facilitate DBT skills groups
• Complete clinical documentation, treatment plans, and billing requirements in a timely manner
• Coordinate care with parents, outside providers, and other members of the treatment team when clinically appropriate
• Participate in clinical consultation and supervision as required
• Maintain Mindful Healing's standards for professional, ethical, and high-quality clinical care
• Support continuity of care throughout the temporary coverage period Who We're Looking For Our ideal therapist is someone who can step into an established caseload while helping clients feel supported and comfortable during their therapist's leave. You may be a great fit if you:
• Have experience working with teens and/or young adults
• Have strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Are organized, dependable, and able to work independently
• Communicate effectively with clients, parents, colleagues, and other providers
• Value collaboration while also taking ownership of your clinical responsibilities
• Are comfortable working with clients with a range of clinical needs Qualifications
• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related mental health field
• Current Connecticut mental health license or associate license
• DBT experience or training strongly preferred
• Group therapy experience preferred
