Job Description
Company Overview Holistic Elements specializes in innovative mental health therapy that combines traditional therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with holistic practices including meditation, diet, and essential oils. Our approach aims to promote comprehensive well-being and healing for diverse client populations. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist (Provisionally Licensed) to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a candidate with some group therapy experience to help co-facilitate an IOP group that meets 3 times a week for 3 hours daily. Additionally, there is opportunity to build a caseload of clients. Benefits are provided to therapist that we can bill 25 hours of clinical hours weekly. We would like to find a candidate that can provide therapy to kids, teens and adults. We are also open to hiring someone to just help co-facilitate the IOP groups. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems, to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes. Engage in case management activities, coordinating care with medical professionals and supporting patients through intake processes and ongoing treatment. Document all clinical encounters accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining high-quality patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex cases involving developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction, grief, chronic pain, and gender issues counseling. Apply research findings and data collection methods to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to clinical research initiatives. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings within behavioral health or mental health clinics. Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions and ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10). Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as psychopharmacology, social work practices, and applied behavior analysis. Knowledge of crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies for individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Experience providing group therapy. Prior telehealth experience is preferred; familiarity with HIPAA compliance ensures secure remote patient interactions. Ability to manage medical records accurately while adhering to confidentiality standards; experience in inpatient or outpatient clinical environments is advantageous.
