Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a provisionally licensed clinician for evening and weekend hours. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their mental health goals. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions addressing issues like grief, trauma, PTSD, addiction, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, gender issues, and chronic pain management. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral crises. Maintain accurate clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment planning records, medical records, and EMR/EHR entries in accordance with clinical ethical guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, patient care coordination, and research initiatives aimed at improving mental health outcomes. Skills Expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-focused therapy. Strong knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis and documentation. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and geriatric populations. Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols for immediate client stabilization. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms ensuring secure patient communication aligned with HIPAA standards. Ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment planning tailored to individual needs. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health disorders and experience working within inpatient or outpatient settings.
