Job Description
Read this if you're a nurse who's done with 12-hour floor shifts. No codes at 3am. No holiday rotations. No charge nurse breathing down your neck. This is a different kind of nursing, and for the right person, it's the best job in the building. We're putting a Registered Nurse inside a Bessemer manufacturing plant to run an onsite wellness clinic. You're not patching people up after they break. You're keeping them healthy in the first place, coaching employees, running screenings, and building a wellness culture on the floor. It's preventative care, and you're the one who owns it. Here's what makes this different You run the show. Nobody hovers. As long as your people are getting healthier and you're operating safe, you set the rhythm of your day. If you've got the judgment to triage, make the call, and handle whatever walks up to your door, you'll thrive. If you need a supervisor for every decision, this isn't your role. What your day looks like Coaching employees one on one toward real health goals Running biometric screenings, blood pressure checks, finger sticks and phlebotomy Giving flu shots and teaching CPR and AED training Walking the floor, starting conversations, and pulling people into the program Working shoulder to shoulder with the safety manager and plant leadership Guarding employee health information like it's your own Who wins here You've got an active Alabama RN license and real experience behind you (this isn't a first job out of school) You're a self-starter who'd rather build something than clock in and wait You can hold your own in a room with plant leadership and say what you think People trust you fast. They open up to you without being asked Bonus points for a health coaching cert (AHNCC, NBHWC, ACE) or a background in case management, home health, hospice, occupational health, or corporate wellness The deal Up to $35 an hour, based on your experience Full-time, onsite in Bessemer Early start, shifts begin at 6am, at least 3 days a week to start No nights. No weekends. No holidays. No on-call. W2 with real benefits: 401(k), paid time off, and employee assistance program If you're an experienced nurse who wants daytime hours, real autonomy, and a chance to actually move the needle on people's health instead of managing their emergencies, we want to talk.
