Full Job Description Job Description:
Under general supervision of Health Information Manager provides technical and administrative support to the Health Information Management Department. Provides guidance and assistance to inquiries from public, Physicians and healthcare providers related to medical records. Performs duties within approved practices and exercises independent judgment within pre-determined guidelines.
Required Skills:
1. Good overall knowledge of Health Information Systems practices, procedures and guidelines. 2. Ability to analyze and solve problems. 3. Ability to seek out new methods and principles to improve services. 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 5. Bilingual English/Spanish. 6. Knowledgeable of medical terminology. 5. Strong Customer Service Orientation. 6. Knowledge of computer skills.
Required Experience:

Work Experience:
Three years Health Information Management or healthcare related work experience to include Hospital/clinic/physicians medical billing/insurance office. B.
License/Registration/Certification:
None C.
Education and Training:
High School graduate or equivalent
