Providence Medical Center—Kansas City, KS (Sporting KC) Join the Sporting KC team as a PRN Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) , where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees at our exciting soccer events. This position is perfect for dedicated EMTs looking to gain experience in emergency management within a dynamic sporting environment. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Provide emergency medical response and care during Sporting KC soccer events. Conduct assessments of patients' conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans. Deliver prompt first-aid interventions and utilize medical equipment effectively. Collaborate with on-site medical teams, security, and emergency services. Implement emergency management protocols tailored for sporting events. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and reports. Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
You must have:
High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014. Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience required. Current and valid state license Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
