Job Description
Position Title Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Technician Driver

Career Interest:
The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Technician Driver will provide safe, reliable transportation for patients traveling to and from medical appointments, treatments, and healthcare facilities. Transportation will be conducted by either a wheelchair van, stretcher van, or secured van pending the need of the patient. This position supports our healthcare mission by working with departments across the continuum of care to advance optimal outcomes.NEWLY CREATED DEPARTMENT AND POSITION.
What a great time to start a career in healthcare by joining our new service. This role will transport patients between the main campus (39th & Rainbow- Kansas City, KS), local rehab and long term care facilities, our behavioral health facilities
- Marillac & Strawberry Hill, and medical offices.
Schedule:
3- 12 hour shifts, including rotational Saturdays
- 7:45am-8:15pm.
CPR/ AED/ BLS
- Other BLS American Heart Association CPR within 60 Days Valid, unrestricted driver's license, Kansas Class C or equivalent. MVR results must be in compliance with Health System Safe Driving Program Policy. Required Language Skills Fluent English
- Knowledge Requirements Ability to assist patients with mobility needs.
