We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team. This role will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to create accurate room layouts and visual designs that support customer projects and enhance the buying experience. Position Summary The CAD Technician is responsible for creating room layouts and spatial designs incorporating LogiQuip products and solutions. This role utilizes Autodesk design software to develop drawings, layouts, and visual representations tailored to customer applications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical design skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Key Responsibilities Create room layouts and visual designs using Autodesk software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Trimble-SketchUp and FormIt. Develop detailed drawings, sketches, diagrams, and design documentation to support customer projects. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools to produce accurate and professional design solutions. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely completion of customer requests. Serve as a key liaison between departments to support project execution and customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with customers and sales representatives regarding project requirements, layouts, and design solutions. Continuously develop product knowledge and stay current on company procedures and design best practices. Support LogiQuip's commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and first-contact resolution whenever possible. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in CAD, Architecture, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Demonstrated experience with CAD design software or relevant CAD certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to confidently interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and process improvements. Self-motivated with a continuous learning and growth mindset. Preferred Experience within an acute healthcare environment. Experience with process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with ERP systems. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
