Automotive Painter Premier Auto Styling is looking for an experienced Automotive Painter to join our team. We are looking for a skilled painter who takes pride in producing high-quality automotive finishes and works well as part of a production team. This position is primarily responsible for automotive refinishing, including final preparation, color matching, blending, painting, and inspecting completed work. Our goal is to create an efficient body and paint department where each team member owns their primary area while working together to keep vehicles moving and deliver quality work to our customers. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles and parts prior to painting to ensure surfaces are properly prepared Complete final preparation and masking as needed before paint Mix paint and refinishing materials according to manufacturer specifications Perform color matching and tinting as needed Apply primers, sealers, base coats, clear coats, and other refinishing materials Perform panel blending when required Produce consistent, high-quality finishes Identify and correct paint defects as necessary Inspect completed paint work for quality before releasing it to the next stage of production Assist with wet sanding, buffing, polishing, and final finishing when needed Properly clean and maintain spray guns, paint equipment, booth areas, and related tools Maintain a clean, safe, and organized paint area Help keep work moving efficiently through the body and paint department Team Expectations Painting will be the primary responsibility of this position; however, we operate as a team. All team members are expected to contribute to the overall success of the shop. This includes helping with preparation, finishing, vehicle cleaning, shop organization, or other production tasks when primary work allows.

Have a positive attitude and team-first mentality Be willing to help where needed Work cooperatively with body, prep, and other production technicians Communicate concerns about preparation or repairs before painting Take ownership of the quality of their work Work efficiently and help prevent unnecessary production delays Participate in keeping the shop and work areas clean and organized Be dependable and accountable Understand that the customer comes first Qualifications Previous professional automotive painting/refinishing experience Knowledge of automotive paint systems and refinishing procedures Experience with color matching, tinting, and blending Experience applying primers, sealers, base coats, and clear coats Understanding of proper surface preparation and masking Ability to identify and correct common paint defects Experience with wet sanding, buffing, and polishing preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team Ability to manage workload and complete work efficiently Valid driver's license Experience with body repair, vehicle disassembly/reassembly, accessory installation, or automotive 12-volt systems is a plus. Compensation Compensation will be based on experience and demonstrated skill level. Specific pay structure will be discussed during the interview process.
