Ambulance Personal/Cross Train as Emergency Medical Technician Regional Ambulance Service At Regional Ambulance Service, we are dedicated to excellence in customer service and patient care. We are currently seeking qualified Ambulance Personal/Cross Train as Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in providing exceptional non-emergency medical transport services.Position Overview:
As an Ambulance Personal/Cross Train as Emergency Medical Technician you will serve as part of a two-person ambulance crew, responding to non-emergency calls with a starting wage of $14 to $20 per hour. Your responsibilities will include providing medical care at the EMT level to sick or injured individuals, transporting patients to and from medical facilities or other designated locations, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will exercise sound judgment in treatment decisions, ensure the availability of proper equipment, and maintain quality care standards. Additional duties include preparing detailed records and reports for non-emergency transports to support billing documentation and legal accountability, as well as assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of the ambulance, equipment, station house, and premises.Key Responsibilities:
Respond to non-emergency calls as part of a two-person ambulance team. Provide appropriate medical care at the EMT level and transport patients safely to medical facilities or other locations. Ensure compliance with quality patient care standards and maintain operational readiness of equipment. Exercise critical decision-making skills in assessing and treating patients. Complete accurate and timely reports for billing and legal purposes. Participate in the upkeep of ambulances, equipment, and station facilities.Job Requirements:
Minimum age of 18 years. Current certification as a South Carolina Certified Emergency Medical Technician (SC EMT) or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT), with eligibility for South Carolina reciprocity. Valid driver's license.Compensation and Benefits:
