We specialize in providing primary care for geriatric patients in Senior Living communities. This is a full-time position. MGT's mission statement is "Do unto others as you would want done unto you". Mobile Primary Care Company looking for energetic, hard-working, experienced Medical Office Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
• Verify patient insurance information
• Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
• Handle any emergencies or urgent situations that may arise

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar administrative role
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
• Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately Previous experience in the Assisted Living Environment is a plus!
