In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure smooth communication between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies, fostering a positive experience from consultation to post-treatment follow-up. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your administrative skills while making a meaningful difference in patients' oral health journeys. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage all patient check-in and check-out procedures with efficiency and care Explain treatment options clearly, answer patient questions, and schedule appointments to optimize clinic flow Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and communicate financial arrangements transparently Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and update patient information diligently using patient management software Coordinate with dental providers to ensure treatment plans are followed through and documented properly Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about services, appointments, and billing processes Uphold strict confidentiality of patient records in compliance with health regulation policies and privacy laws Skills Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment with strong administrative support skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Knowledge of health insurance policies, billing procedures, and health regulation compliance standards Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for managing patient data efficiently Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care to facilitate accurate documentation and communication Ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional dental care!
