Our team consists of dedicated professionals who work closely to support one another and uphold our standard of excellence in eye health and customer service. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our energetic team as a Front Desk Receptionist. This role is crucial as it serves as the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their overall experience at our practice. The candidate we seek should have a pleasant and warm personality, with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. While prior experience in an optometry or medical office setting is preferred, it is not mandatory, as we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. The wage range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 hourly, commensurate with experience and the position will be offered an opportunity to earn bonuses and commission (role specific) The ideal candidate will: Greet patients and clients with a positive attitude. Verify insurance eligibility and calculate insurance co-pay based on insurance eligibility. Schedule and sign-in patients. Call patients when their glasses are ready for pick up. Make sure daily schedule is printed out and Doctors know what patients are coming for. Scan insurances, patients' forms, and other documents as necessary. Assist doctors and other supporting staff, as necessary. Call no-show patients and schedule them. Other duties as assigned by store manager.
