In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and providers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient management of medical records and appointments. Your energetic and proactive attitude will help streamline clinic operations, and enhance patient experiences. This position offers 10-20 scheduled hours. For candidates desiring additional hours, the position can be combined with the Physical Therapy Aide position. The position requires some flexibility of availability for staff coverage. Duties Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications using EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Process medical collections of copays, deductibles and co-insurances accurately. Assist patients with registration procedures at the front desk, providing excellent customer service through phone communication and in-person interactions while demonstrating proper phone etiquette. Scan documents. Prepare medical records for attorneys and insurance companies Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations, including medical scheduling and administrative support tasks. Skills Experience with EMR/EHR systems a plus. Excellent computer skills a plus for patient registration and related activities. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly phone manner; capable of handling front desk duties effectively in a busy clinic environment. Bilingual abilities are valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology and health information management enhances your success in this role.
