Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Big Fish Hospitality Group Manager, where you will lead and inspire a vibrant team to deliver exceptional dining experiences across casual and fine dining settings. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure food safety and quality standards are met, manage budgets and inventory, and foster a positive, customer-focused environment. Your energetic leadership will drive team performance, enhance guest satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our hospitality group. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards aligned with brand expectations. Manage daily operations including shift management, POS system oversight (Aloha POS, Micros POS), cash handling, and customer service excellence. Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and food safety practices to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular staff training in food handling and safety procedures. Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction; develop strategies accordingly. Coordinate kitchen management activities such as food production, catering events, banquet services, and bar or coffee service when applicable. Foster a team-oriented environment by providing ongoing training & development opportunities, conducting interviews for new hires, and promoting leadership growth within the team. Qualifications Proven management experience in the food service industry with a strong background in restaurant management or hospitality management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, POS systems (Aloha POS & Micros POS), inventory control, and food safety protocols. Demonstrated supervising experience with skills in team management, staff training & development, and managerial communication. Experience working in casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations efficiently. Strong leadership qualities with excellent customer service skills; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with budgeting processes, profit & loss analysis, and food industry standards is highly desirable. Exceptional organizational skills with an emphasis on food safety management, kitchen operations oversight, and team leadership.
