Day Shift (Full-Time Position) possible weekend & holiday rotation

Description:

Responsible for direction of patient care activities on the Medical/Surgical Unit. Coordinates staff in the Medical/Surgical Unit, provides coordination of operational and nursing activities. Consults with staff, physicians, and MS Manager on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains Performance improvement activities within the Dept. and participates in CQI activities. The PCC has accountability for assigned areas requiring a presence on all shifts as needed. This position may require taking patient assignment(s) based on staffing needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure:

RN - "current" nurse licensure to practice in the state of

Kentucky Certification:

BLS, ACLS, PALS

Experience:
