Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admissions Director to lead our admissions team and oversee the patient intake process across our healthcare facilities. Long-term care admissions director manages the entry process for new residents. They review medical records, verify insurance or payment options, give facility tours, and help families complete paperwork. They also work with nurses and social workers to make the move smooth and keep the facility at full capacity. Key Responsibilities •
Manage Referrals:
Review incoming hospital or community inquiries and check if the facility can meet the person's care needs. •
Verify Insurance:
Check Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, or managed care coverage and financial details. •
Guide Families:
Give tours, answer questions, explain facility rules, and help with admission forms. •
Coordinate Teams:
Work closely with nursing, therapy, and social services to plan safe arrivals. •
Maintain Records:
Track bed availability, manage inquiry logs, and update census reports. Qualifications & Skills •
Education:
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or health administration preferred. •
Experience:
Previous work in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or hospital case management. •
Skills:

Up to $84,000.00 per year
