Hospitality (General)

Oversees two (2) store locations

Ownership/Operation Manager Position Summary This role is perfect for a motivated leader passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing diverse teams, and driving operational excellence. The General Manager leads daily operations, staff leadership and development, inventory control, and bar inventory management across two coffee bar locations. This role blends hands-on food service leadership with grab-and-go retail oversight, ensuring both stores run efficiently, staff are well-trained and motivated, and the brand maintains a strong, consistent presence both in-store and online. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and store presentation at both locations Maintain consistency in drink and food quality, recipe adherence, and service speed across sites Split time intentionally between locations (e.g., set days/hours at each) to ensure visible leadership presence Ensure compliance with health department regulations, food safety standards, and permits at both sites Identify operational bottlenecks on bar (slow ticket times, waste, layout issues) and implement fixes Scheduling Build and publish weekly schedules for both locations weeks in advance Balance labor cost targets against peak-hour coverage needs Manage time-off requests, shift swaps, and last-minute call-out coverage Adjust staffing levels based on anticipated volume (events, seasonality, promotions) Staff Supervision & Development Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new baristas and shift leads Work with operations manager and help build and lead a structured onboarding/training program for new hires Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching/feedback Identify and develop shift leads or assistant managers as second-in-command at each location Address performance issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters Foster a positive team Foster a culture of accountability, hospitality, and pride in the product Lead regular staff meetings to communicate updates and expectations Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience with staff scheduling software and POS/inventory systems Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Growth Path We are looking to hire someone for this role long term. Someone who can grow with the company as it expands into new markets — with future opportunities to move into a multi-unit or regional oversight role. Compensation & Benefits We believe in recognizing strong performance and providing opportunities for advancement. This is an expanding role. As we grow in the number of stores, the pay will reflect. While the starting rate for this position is $50k salary for the year, compensation will be reviewed based on performance, initiative, reliability, and the ability to take ownership of the role. As we expand locations, salary will reflect as well. Opportunities for an increase may occur within the first 6-9 months for individuals who demonstrate strong performance, consistently meet expectations, take initiative, and make a meaningful contribution to the success of Bevvy. As the company grows and additional locations are added, there will also be opportunities for increased responsibility, leadership, and of course compensation. $50K Yearly Salary Paid time off after 6 months (PTO) Although we cannot offer full health benefits immediately, we are willing to negotiate a monthly amount to cover your health cost in addition to your yearly salary. Still exploring full health benefits and 401K options for employees for 2027 Free or discounted coffee/food during shifts Employee discount at both locations 20%-40% Professional development support
Ideal Candidate:
A natural multiplier — comfortable jumping behind the bar during a rush, then pivoting to a hiring conversation an hour later. Organized and self-directed; doesn't need to be told what needs doing at either location because they're already tracking it . Someone who leads by example rather than authority — someone staff respect because they'll do the job alongside them, not just delegate it. Direct but kind in feedback; can have a hard conversation about performance without it becoming personal. Genuinely enjoys developing people — likely to identify and build a future assistant manager rather than hoarding responsibility Soneone with high ownership mentality — treats both stores like they're theirs, not just a job. Who is even-keeled under pressure (short-staffed shift, broken espresso machine, angry customer) — a calming presence for the team, not an escalating one. Excited by growth — someone who sees "we're expanding into new markets" as motivating, not stressful, since there's a real growth path attached to this role
Pay:
From $50,000.00 per year
