Maintain public areas like lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces with high standards of sanitation and appearance. Follow safety protocols by understanding safety data sheets (SDS), proper chemical handling procedures, and hotel emergency procedures. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks involved in moving furniture or cleaning supplies to ensure safety and efficiency. Use industrial cleaning techniques for deep cleaning tasks when necessary, ensuring all areas are spotless and well-maintained. Support hotel housekeeping management by adhering to schedules, completing shift reports, and maintaining cleanliness records. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment including vacuums and floor care tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and manual handling tasks throughout shifts. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management processes is a plus.
