Duties Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, supplies, and linens safely and efficiently Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and detailed floor cleaning to maintain high standards of sanitation Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety procedures Support janitorial and custodial tasks to uphold cleanliness standards throughout the property Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from guests or management, providing excellent customer service Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience within a hospitality or industrial cleaning setting is preferred Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards is highly advantageous Knowledge of chemical handling, safety data sheets (SDS), and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential Experience with floor cleaning techniques including floor care, vacuuming, and industrial cleaning methods is desirable Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks and moving supplies safely Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests Prior exposure to hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols will support your success in this role Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your dedication keeps our hotel shining bright!
