Insurance Prior Authorizations Coordinator Insurance Prior Authorizations Coordinator Responsibilities As an Insurance Prior Authorizations Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Prioritizing and coordinating prior authorizations for medical services Verifying and processing patient insurance information Collaborating with healthcare providers to obtain necessary authorizations Maintaining accurate records and reports related to prior authorizations Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers Identifying and resolving issues related to prior authorizations in a timely and efficient manner Insurance Prior Authorizations Coordinator Requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Proficiency in electronic medical records and prior authorization software Insurance Prior Authorizations Coordinator hours Mon-Fri 8am-4pm + overtime! Insurance Prior Authorizations Coordinator salary- $25/hr
