This role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate insurance processing, and a positive patient experience from check-in through treatment completion. Key Responsibilities Patient Care Coordination Greet and assist patients with a friendly, professional demeanor Schedule and confirm appointments Explain treatment plans and financial options clearly to patients Coordinate follow-up care and referrals Ensure patient records are accurate and up to date Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Submit and track insurance claims Obtain pre-authorizations and predeterminations Explain coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies Collect co-pays and payments Maintain accurate billing and patient account records Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claims and reimbursements Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in a dental office (preferred) Knowledge of dental insurance plans Familiarity with dental software Eaglesoft (preferred) Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive patient information (HIPAA compliance) Must be computer-savvy and comfortable learning new software Ideal Candidate Traits Compassionate and patient-focused Strong problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Team-oriented with a positive attitude Schedule Monday 7:45 am-5:00 pm Tuesday 7:45 am
