Join Our Team as an Assisted Living Administrator Mary's Woods is seeking a dedicated Assisted Living Administrator to provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of our Assisted Living neighborhoods, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered services while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Administrator partners with Health Services leadership to promote clinical excellence, operational effectiveness, employee engagement, and continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of our two Assisted Living neighborhoods. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, licensing standards, and organizational policies by maintaining survey readiness, overseeing quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives, supporting audits and inspections, and implementing corrective action plans as needed. Promote a resident-centered culture that supports dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. Partner with the Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing to train, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff. Develop staffing plans, monitor staffing levels, and ensure adequate resources to meet resident care needs and regulatory requirements. Oversee resident admissions, assessments, care coordination, and service delivery. Monitor resident satisfaction and address concerns from residents and families promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation required by regulatory agencies and organizational policies. Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care and service. Manage risk, investigate incidents, and ensure timely reporting and follow-up. Coordinate emergency preparedness planning and ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community partners, and outside vendors to ensure quality resident services. Partner with Facility Services and Dining Services departments to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication, leadership, and employee engagement. Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and organizational information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Participate in manager-on-duty responsibilities and respond to operational or resident emergencies as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current, unencumbered Oregon Assisted Living Facility/Residential Care Facility (ALF/RCF) Administrator license. Minimum of three years of leadership experience in assisted living, residential care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living and residential care communities. Ability to effectively use an electronic health record (EHR), preferably PointClickCare (PCC), or a similar clinical documentation system. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
