Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-Time Chiropractic Front Office Patient Coordinator to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your energetic approach and exceptional organizational skills will help streamline clinic operations, manage patient interactions, and support clinical staff in delivering outstanding care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Manage patient scheduling efficiently, including appointment bookings, rescheduling, and follow-up reminders via phone and electronic communication Collect and process insurance information, verify coverage, and handle medical billing using health insurance knowledge including Medicare and HIPAA compliance standards Review medical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies; ensure proper coding with CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) Maintain accurate medical records, manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure secure handling of sensitive patient information Support clinical staff by preparing care plans documentation, reviewing patient histories, and assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, and document management Provide excellent customer service through phone communication with patients, answering inquiries professionally while demonstrating strong phone etiquette and active listening skills Requirements Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with clinic experience preferred Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with electronic health records management is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical billing processes including medical collection procedures and insurance claim submissions Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information Ability to perform medical coding using CPT codes accurately for billing purposes Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and administrative support tasks Strong interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding patient service at the front desk while maintaining professionalism under pressure Must be a team player Must have excellent attendance Must be comfortable with conflict resolution Join us in making a positive impact on our patients' lives!
