Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Director to lead and oversee school-based mental health services within our community. In this vital role, you will coordinate clinical programs, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of comprehensive mental health and behavioral care to children and adolescents. Duties Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of school-based mental health programs aligned with best practices and regulatory standards. Supervise clinical staff including social workers, therapists, case managers, and support personnel, providing ongoing mentorship and performance evaluations. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for clients with diverse mental health conditions. Coordinate services such as individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. Manage clinical documentation ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems. Collaborate with school personnel, families, community agencies, and healthcare providers to facilitate integrated case management and support services. Lead crisis intervention efforts, including crisis management protocols and emergency response planning for students experiencing acute mental health crises or co-occurring disorders. Ensure staff adherence to confidentiality standards while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting clinical research initiatives when applicable. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent required. Extensive experience working with children and adolescents in mental health or behavioral health settings; experience with pediatrics preferred. Proven supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams in school or community environments. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices including CBT, behavioral therapy, crisis intervention strategies, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Familiarity with medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and electronic health record systems (EMR/EHR). Excellent communication skills for client engagement, family collaboration, staff supervision, and community outreach. Ability to manage complex cases involving neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), co-occurring substance use disorders, PTSD care needs, and disabilities. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality of patient information across diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.
