Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrator to join our team! This vital role is responsible for managing the day-to-day, as well as short and long-range planning of the ASC as directed by the governing board. The Administrator is responsible for the managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting requirements of the facility. The Administrator will be available to the ASC during facility hours of operation. Duties Ensure the development, implementation, and enforcement of all ASC polices and procedures, including Patient Rights, as delegated by the governing board Oversee the development and implementation of the Quality Program, Safety Program (Patient Safety and Facility Safety), Risk Management Program, and Infection Prevention Program Development, implementation, and oversight of the ASF committee structure Ensure all ASF staff have annual performance evaluations completed Oversee all staff recruitment and retention processes Ensure the provision of staff orientation, training, and ongoing annual education Establish and maintain liaison relationships and communication with facility contracted services, community services, and support services Develop, implement, and maintain a high level of patient care satisfaction and promote services to staff and patients served Develop, implement, and oversee the financial performance of the ASC Maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance with State and Federal regulations, accreditation requirements, and national trends in health care as it pertains to Ambulatory Surgery Ensure the ASC maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and conformance to policies and procedures Oversee the resolution of any identified patient care or administrative issues, complaints, or grievances, and implement risk management strategies Accept organizational accountability for services provided Maintain appropriate certification and professional organization membership Promote cost effectiveness within the ASF through the appropriate management of time and resources Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and accountability when changes are made in the job description and responsibility Skills Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and productivity software Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for financial management tasks Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment Education A bachelor's in healthcare business or a related field is required; a Master's in the related field is preferred Experience Three years of recent Ambulatory Surgery Center Management experience is required
