Key Responsibilities:
Monitors patient volumes, manages placement based on acuity, and communicates issues to leadership. Coordinates bed availability and collaborates with ancillary departments to address delays. Utilizes tele-tracking to identify available beds and facilitates patient transfers. Ensures timely discharge processes and room turnover, providing comprehensive status reports to team members. Addresses barriers to expedite patient care and resource allocation, including transportation coordination. Serves as a communication link between staff and leadership to optimize patient flow.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of a nursing specialty training program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Work is performed in a clinical environment in compliance with organizational policies.
Additional Information:
Requires working evening/night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays. Prioritizes patient safety, quality, and collaborative teamwork.
