Position Summary:

The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for the accurate organization, maintenance, and security of patient health information in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. This role ensures medical records are complete, up to date, and readily accessible to support patient care and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include processing and managing medical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR), fulfilling record requests, coordinating the release of information, and maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines. The coordinator also collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to resolve discrepancies, ensure data integrity, and support reporting or audit needs.
