ABOUT THIS JOB
This opportunity is for a Clinical Director position at our Brownsville location to join our growing team. This currently•operating, 6,000 sq ft facility has been thoughtfully designed to be sensory-friendly, fostering creativity, play, and imagination for the children we serve. This is an in-clinic position only with 1 WFH day each week —we pride ourselves on providing hands-on, high-quality, one-to-one care within a structured and supportive center environment. We do not offer hybrid or remote services, nor will you be required to serve more than one center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of BCBA experience , strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of children and their families. Paid Time Off WFH days You Focus on Clinical Work•We Handle the Admin work BCBAs do not create or manage staff scheduling, call-ins, do HR tasks, or insurance chasing Practicum students and interns assist your caseload. You'll do assessments, supervise treatment plans, train RBTs, and provide parent training RBT Trainer On Staff to assist with RBT onboarding Supported, Not Micromanaged Owners are not involved in clinical decisions SOS provides live remote BCBA support and clinical training from the Franchising Team SOS has a LMS with robust training content for RBTs and BCBAs. SOS gives BTs access to the 40 hour cert videos on their first day of work. All BCBAs get two weeks of initial training from our corporate office•for this, you may have to travel to Houston for 1 week. Ethically Aligned SOS was founded by an autism parent. 25% of SOS owners are autism parents who prioritize care over profit. SOS does not require employees to sign non-compete agreements. SOS does not require training payback agreements. SOS is proud to have full billing transparency. Nothing gets billed to insurance without BCBA approval. Health Reimbursement/Month Job Description:
Work In Center Monday•Friday 7:45am•4:30pm Acting Quality Assurance Officer Acting Ethics Officer Conflict Resolution/ Incident Response Weekly Meetings with BCBAs Oversee other BCBAs work and offer support Perform Assessments (VB-Mapp, AFLS, Social Skills Solutions, etc) Create Individualized, research-based client programs Analyze client progress and update programs as needed Weekly parent training meetings and progress updates Supervise Interns and RBTs in-center and in-home Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service trainings Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests) Train Interns and Trainers Respond to Insurance Audits Safety Management Cleaning Duties
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred BCBA Certification
BLS / CPR
certification No criminal background Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
