Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Office Manager / Administrator Assistant to lead and support the daily operations of our healthcare practice. Duties Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient flow, staff schedules, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction Oversee medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development for healthcare personnel Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other healthcare regulations Maintain accurate medical records and oversee electronic health record (EHR) systems management to ensure data integrity and confidentiality Coordinate with healthcare providers on practice management tasks such as utilization management, managed care contracts, and medical management protocols Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control to support sustainable practice growth Facilitate communication between clinical staff, patients, insurance companies, and external vendors to promote seamless operations Implement policies related to health regulation compliance, medical records retention, and office safety standards Skills Extensive experience in medical office management with proficiency in eClinicalWorks Strong supervisory skills with proven ability to lead healthcare teams effectively Knowledge of healthcare practice management including billing, coding (medical terminology), and financial management Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, and health regulation policies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks and reporting Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and resolve conflicts diplomatically Experience in managing budgets, medical billing processes, and compliance requirements within a healthcare setting Ability to navigate managed care environments and utilization management procedures efficiently Critical care or acute care experience is a plus for understanding complex patient needs Strong customer service orientation with a focus on patient satisfaction and operational excellence
