What You'll Do:
The Lead Occupational Therapist (O.T.) will maintain flexibility in work schedule meeting the needs of the department. The Lead O.T. will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Manager and Administrative Director with daily operational duties. The duties will be split approximately 80% clinical and 20% administrative duties. The Lead O.T. in their clinical role examines, evaluates and assesses individuals of all ages who have medical problems or other health related conditions that limit their ability to move or function with activities of daily living. The Lead O.T. develops a plan of care and provides treatment techniques and interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability. The Lead O.T. provides occupational therapy services and elements of patient/client care management leading to optimal outcomes according to the relevant state Occupational Therapy Practice Standards. The Lead O.T. works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a team in the areas of education and consultation regarding patient care needs in accordance with the vision and mission of Emplify Health by Gundersen.
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE) Day shifts (07:30a-4:00p or 08:00a-4:30p) with holiday rotation Starting salary of $81,620 and up based on relevant years of work experience
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy 3-4 years clinical practice as an Occupational Therapist, previous management experience preferred Occupational Therapist - Wisconsin (OT) license Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs;
