As a Healthcare Market Growth Leader, you'll play a key role in strengthening and expanding strategic client relationships across the East region, supporting some of the nation's most complex healthcare facilities and infrastructure programs. In this role, you will lead growth for strategic healthcare infrastructure clients across Jacobs' East Region, focusing on hospitals, academic medical centers, research facilities, laboratories, outpatient campuses, and other healthcare facility programs. You will develop and expand relationships with healthcare owners and facility decision-makers, drive market growth strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to position Jacobs as the partner of choice for healthcare advisory, planning, architecture, engineering, design, and program management/construction management (PMCM) services. Your work will help clients deliver complex capital programs and infrastructure investments that support meaningful outcomes for the communities they serve. What you'll do Lead strategic healthcare infrastructure client accounts across Jacobs' East Region. Serve as the primary point of contact for client service activities and market growth initiatives. Develop and implement client and market growth strategies aligned with regional healthcare infrastructure objectives. Collaborate with the Geographic Cities & Places Market Growth Director to align healthcare infrastructure growth strategies with broader regional priorities. Build, lead, and coordinate multidisciplinary client service teams focused on shared account goals. Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders across executive, operational, technical, facilities, planning, design, and project delivery functions. Build relationships with healthcare system executives, facilities leaders, capital planning teams, design and construction stakeholders, and other decision-makers responsible for healthcare infrastructure investments. Advocate client needs and coordinate internal resources to support successful outcomes. Identify opportunities to strengthen executive-level client engagement Partner with healthcare market leaders on strategic growth initiatives, workforce planning, and key pursuits. Support business development efforts, including pursuit strategy, proposal development, interviews, and presentations. Facilitate sales process activities, including Go/No Go decisions and pursuit investment planning. Participate in industry organizations and community engagement activities to expand relationships and strengthen Jacobs' market presence. 15+ years of experience supporting healthcare infrastructure, healthcare facility development, or healthcare capital programs, preferably within architecture, engineering, consulting, program management, construction management, or integrated design organizations serving hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, research facilities, or large healthcare campuses. A proven track record of growing client relationships and winning new business within the healthcare market, including professional services related to planning, architecture, engineering, program management, construction management, or capital project delivery. Established relationships with healthcare owners and decision-makers, such as health system executives, facilities and real estate leaders, capital planning teams, design and construction executives, or academic medical center leadership, developed through client-facing, account management, or market leadership roles. Experience leading strategic pursuits for complex healthcare projects and programs, including opportunity development, capture planning, proposal strategy, interview preparation and delivery, teaming coordination, and pursuit decision-making activities. Success leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams in support of major healthcare infrastructure opportunities, bringing together professionals across planning, architecture, engineering, program management, construction management, and advisory services to deliver successful client outcomes. Ideally, you'll also have A degree in architecture, engineering, planning, construction management, business administration or related design, or technical discipline. Experience supporting healthcare capital investments involving hospitals, academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, laboratories, research facilities, outpatient networks, or campus expansion programs. Experience working for a national or regional architecture, engineering, consulting, program management, or infrastructure services organization. Active involvement in healthcare industry organizations, associations, or professional networks that support healthcare facilities, capital planning, or infrastructure development. Established relationships with healthcare contractors, design-build teams, specialty consultants, and other industry partners involved in healthcare facility delivery. Experience supporting research, laboratory, life sciences, or academic medicine facilities and infrastructure programs. This role is ideally based in Chicago, IL; Philadelphia, PA; St. Louis, MO; or the Washington, DC metro area (Arlington, VA). Candidates located elsewhere within the East Region may also be considered, provided they have access to a Jacobs office. This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of two days per week in a Jacobs office.
