Qualifications:

Histotechnician training available! HS Diploma or GED, and 3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent

Preferred:

Experience as a Histotech or HT (ASCP) eligible

Required:

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science Some duties may include: Accession specimens for grossing Gross examination and dissection of skin specimen for tissue processing Prepare skin tissue specimens for microscopic examination Process and embed samples Section paraffin-embedded samples Prepare reagents, solutions, control slides, and special stains Accurately label tissue samples and slides Other duties as assigned, including performing routine maintenance and cleaning, filing slides and blocks Our lab must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment while adhering to
