Category Laboratory - Histology Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity calls for an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in laboratory histology and management. You will provide both technical guidance and operational leadership, ensuring quality, compliance, and excellent team performance within the laboratory. This position comes with a competitive annual salary of $162,240.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and coordinate laboratory programs and activities, maintaining overall fiscal accountability for the assigned section(s) Develop work goals and objectives grounded in organization plans and forecasts; oversee budgeting and program development Track and review payroll, manage overtime and FlexPTO, and conduct performance appraisals Foster continuous improvement, participate in quality management initiatives, and implement creative solutions to business processes Provide clinical expertise, coach less experienced staff, and act as a role model for care standards Deliver people management through counseling, career development, conflict resolution, and setting/assessing objectives for subordinates Lead operations planning: forecast resource needs, prioritize tasks, define dependencies, schedule work, and manage complex projects Interpret, explain, and train others on applicable rules and regulations, ensuring compliance in challenging situations Cultivate positive work climate and united team culture, inspiring high performance and commitment

Required Experience & Credentials:
