Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to ensure health stability Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and manual handling equipment to ensure safe transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of ADLs assistance, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and geriatrics best practices Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral management needs with patience and understanding Proficiency in vital signs measurement, medication administration, CPR certification, first aid skills, and emergency response procedures Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while ensuring resident comfort and safety Experience operating EMR systems for accurate documentation; familiarity with Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices preferred Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to client transportation or community outings Join us in providing compassionate care that transforms lives!
