Job Description
Direct Support Professionals ( experience required) Hours may vary. Looking for responsible and dependable person to work.
Requirements:
- 18 Years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Have a valid Driver License/ID
- Must be able to pass a physical
- Must be able to pass a Background Investigation (Live Scan) before starting employment
- CPI card.
DSP 1 & 2
(Required in 6 months)- Minimum 1 year experience working specifically in a residential setting with Developmental Disabilities
- Up to date CPR/First Aid card
- Current TB/Health Screen within the past 6 months.
- Job task may include to the needs of each consumer, including assisting them with grooming, bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding and communicating other individual needs they may have.
- Maintain a safe environment for the consumer by cleaning the home.
- Update consumer notes and information
- Support the needs and goals of each consumer such as taking them to medical appointments, visiting families and friends, taking them to participate in leisure activities, and encouraging them to socialize with peers.
- Dress according to dress code and safety purposes
- Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in continuing education and trainings
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
