We are an Adult Residential Facility serving developmentally disabled male clients with behavioral issues. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact in the community. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Monitor resident health by observing changes in behaviors & conditions, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams. Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans developed by healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Document care activities, patient observations, and incidents clearly and thoroughly in compliance with privacy regulations. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a respectful and engaging atmosphere. Requirements Must have DSP 1 Certification. DSP 2 Certificate can be obtained after being hired if you do not already have it.

MUST HAVE CAR INSURANCE COVERAGE

at least $300K combined single limit car insurance OR $300K each person/ $300K each accident is better if possible. Must have a valid Drivers License. Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, First Aid, autism support is desirable. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status or behavior. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers. Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications related to nursing or social work are advantageous.
