Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts. Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams. Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans developed by healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Document care activities, patient observations, and incidents clearly and thoroughly in compliance with privacy regulations. DSP 1 & DSP 2

Certificate after being hired if you do not already have them. Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, First Aid, autism support is desirable. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status or behavior. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers. Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications related to nursing or social work are advantageous.
