PART TIME AND PER DIEM POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Provide assistance and/or support for the individuals to follow all their ADLs and goals for living independently. Supports and empowers individuals with developing and following a monthly budget. Supports and empowers individuals to perform household duties including housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry. Participates in completion of the individuals' medical appointments, community integration, and social involvement in their community. Provides a positive environment to the individuals, encouraging independence, choices, and individuality to the best of their ability.
Job Requirements:
Staff must transport individuals in own personal car vehicle. Complete all required documentation in accordance with The Arc of Southington policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Staff must complete and keep current on all necessary training and certifications.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience working in a supportive housing or IHS environment. Good written, computer and verbal communication skills Availability to be flexible Valid CT driver license and insurability Ability to lift 50 lbs. Medication Certification preferred, not required.
